Changing the hierarchy of wiki pages

Displaying the hierarchy of wiki pages

  1. Click Wikis to show the overview of all wikis.
  2. Then click on the name of the wiki you want to change (in the left column with the title Browse Wiki).
  3. Alternatively, click the action Browse this Wiki if a page of the wiki is being displayed right now.
  4. A page is displayed with the name, the tags, the link to the homepage and the alphabetical list of all wiki pages of the wiki.
  5. Select the view Hierarchical.
  6. A list of all wiki pages of the wiki which have no parent page is shown. One of these pages can be the homepage of the wiki. Its child pages appear as menu items.
  7. If a wiki page has child pages, a small triangle pointing to the right appears in front of the name of the wiki page.
  8. Click the triangle to show the child pages, and click it again to hide it again.
  9. Click the name of a wiki page to display the wiki page. You can then delete the wiki page if necessary.

Changing the hierarchy of wiki pages

Proceed as follows to change the hierarchy, and therefore the menu structure, of the wiki pages:

  • Drag a wiki page home to destination of another wiki page, to move home after the last child of destination.
  • Drag a wiki page home in front of destination of another wiki page, to move home in front of destination.
  • Drag a wiki page home after destination of another wiki page, to move home after destination.

Notes

  • When you move a wiki page, all wiki page child pages move with it. It is therefore not permitted to move a parent page after or beside one of its child pages.
  • All changes are logged in the wiki page history.
