Changing your account properties

  • To change your account properties you must be logged in.
  • Click your name, which appears at the top right edge of the screen after login.
  • Your account properties are shown, which you can change as you wish.

Changing your personal password

  1. Click Edit Password.
  2. Type in your old password.
  3. Type in your new password.
  4. Type in your new password a second time to ensure that you have not mistyped.
  5. Click Save.

Changing your personal password for a central directory service

If your account is linked to a central directory service (LDAP server in the company or open ID server on the Web), you cannot change your password in Tricia. Ask the administrator of the directory service how to change your password for this directory service.

Depending on the configuration of the directory service and the Tricia software, there is a delay between when the password is changed and when it takes effect. Find out from your system administrator how much time this could take. Until the password change takes effect, you can log in with your old password.

Changing your account visibility

By default, new accounts are only visible to other signed-in users.

  • Check the setting Publicly Visible (green tick) to enable non-signed-in users and search engines to find and view your account.

Viewing previous account changes

  • Click the tab Versions to view a log of all account changes.

The log also contains changes made by system administrators.

Viewing last login time

The field Last Login shows the time of last explicit or automatic login for this account.

This information is useful for administrators to identify accounts which have not been used for an extended period and to delete them if necessary.

However, you can also discover misuse of your account by others.
