Creating a new blog post

Proceed as follows to create a new blog post:

  1. Click Blogs to show the overview of all blogs.
  2. Click the name of the blog in which you want to create a new post.
  3. If you are an editor of the blog, the action New Post is shown in the action bar at the top right edge.
  4. Click New Post.
  5. The window Create New Post opens.
  6. Enter a succinct title for your new blog post.
  7. If you wish, assign tags to help the readers of your blog to find the blog post easily later (subject, location, time, persons, see also Using tags).
  8. Enter the text of the new post (see Editing text, Editing tables, Using hyperlinks).
  9. If necessary, you can grant other editors the right to edit this one blog post.
  10. If necessary, you can change the readers for this blog post. For example, you can make a blog post visible only for yourself (or your co-editors), if you do not want to release it to all readers yet. You can also give additional readers access to the blog post as well as the existing readers of your blog.
  11. If you select Show Comments, it is possible for the readers and editors of your blog to comment on blog posts. The setting can be individually modified for each blog post. With the option Set for all Pages, you can switch the setting on or off for all current pages in the blog.
  12. Confirm your inputs by clicking Save or cancel the creation of a new blog post by clicking Cancel.
