Creating a new type definition

 Explicitly creating a new type definition

  1. Click Wikis to show the list of all wikis.
  2. Then in the column Browse Wiki click the name of the wiki in which you want to create a new type definition.
  3. Click the tab for the view Type Tags.
  4. A list of the names of all type tags used or declared in the wiki is shown. For each type tag the frequency of use in the wiki is shown.
  5. If you are an editor of the wiki, the action New Type Definition is shown in the action bar.
  6. Select the action New Type Definition.
  7. An input window appears, in which you can change the properties of the type definition. (see Bearbeiten einer Typdefinition)
  8. Close input by clicking Save, or cancel input by clicking Cancel.

Implicitly creating a new type definition

If you already have a wiki page to which you want to assign a new type definition, alternatively proceed as follows:

  1. Make sure that the wiki page and its attribute table is shown. (see Editing a wikipage)
  2. Click the field Types: at the top edge of the attribute table so that you can edit the list of types.
  3. Add to the list of names the new type definition to be created.
  4. Close input by clicking Save (or pressing the Return key).
  5. Click the type tag:
  6. A table of all wiki pages with this type tag is shown.
  7. Click the action New Type Definition and proceed as described above from step 7.
