Editing a wiki page
- Navigate to the wiki page to be edited and display it.
- Make sure that you have editor rights for the wiki page.
Changing multiple properties of the displayed wiki page
Proceed as follows to change multiple properties of the wiki page at once.
- Click the action Edit.
- A view of the wiki page with the title Edit Page “...” is displayed, in which all properties and the content can be edited.
- Close input by clicking Save, or cancel all inputs by clicking Cancel.
- Click Save and Continue to save the current status of the inputs and continue input later.
- Every saved version is shown in the version history of the wiki page and can be restored.
Your changes are saved regularly (approx. every 30 seconds) as a draft on the server. If, for example, you close the browser and afterwards resume editing a wiki page using Edit, you will be notified of the draft and can choose to delete the draft or use it as a starting point for editing.
All changes to wiki page properties are logged in the version history.
Changing individual properties of a wiki page
- You can change the title, the tags and the text of the wiki page in View direct.
- Switch to the Details view of the wiki page to change the properties you see there (e.g. Parent Page, Wiki, Editors, Readers, Name in URL, Show Comments, Enable TriciaScript, Show Template).
- Press and hold down the Control key (Ctrl) and click the property you want to change.
- Alternatively, you can move the mouse over the property and then click the pencil icon that appears in the top right corner beside the property.
- The property is displayed for editing.
- Change the property as you want.
- Close input by clicking Save, or cancel all inputs by clicking Cancel.
